Interested in a construction loan or another expansion project?
Are you finding yourself unable to move forward with a construction or expansion project due to current market conditions and your appraisal comes in to low? Intercity has been able to assist with finding the additional capital, or gap financing available through Central Wisconsin Economic Development’s (CWED) Revolving Loan Fund. This fund was formerly administered through Marathon County Development Corporation (McDevco).
CWED offers very attractive rates, currently beginning at 2% for 7 years for equipment purchases and 10 years for most real estate loans. There are some guidelines, as follows, for qualifying:
Eligibility and Guidelines
- Loan funds may be used to finance acquisition of existing business, land, building, and equipment; working capital; or expansion projects.
- Businesses must be located in Adams, Marathon, Portage, or Wood County.
- There must be a minimum of one dollar in private funds available for every dollar in CWED loan funds requested, and the applicant must provide personal equity in an amount at least equal to 10% of the total project cost.
- One full-time job is to be created or retained for each $20,000 loaned.
- The business shall be obligated to maintain operations within the municipality for the term of the loan.
- Projects must be completed within 24 months of the date of loan approval.
- Personal guaranties are required.
- Refinancing of existing debt is not eligible.
With these attractive rates and terms, your next project can get off the ground even with these difficult current market conditions. Intercity can help you with the application and loan presentation with CWED Loan review Committee, and will be right by your side through the entire process. Forrest was born prematurely and had many medical challenges.
Forrest Goetsch Charities was established in his memory. Because Forrest’s life here on earth had such a profound impact, his parents wanted to celebrate his life and honor his memory in a permanent fashion. Forrest Goetsch Charities, an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievement in our communities by youth and or organizations who have helped others through difficult times or who have personally overcome challenges in their lives. All proceeds from the run go to Forrest Goetsch Charities to award to these youth and/or organizations. Betson

No “Heartbleed” worries with our Online Banking
Intercity State Bank is aware of the “Heartbleed” vulnerability affecting many websites. After a review of our systems, we can report that the “Heartbleed” OpenSSL vulnerability never affected our Online Banking. In addition, Intercity State Bank’s public website is not affected by the “Heartbleed” vulnerability.
However, if your ISB login and password are the same login and password you use on other websites, that login information could have been compromised if those other sites were susceptible to the “Heartbleed” vulnerability. For more information regarding potentially affected websites, please review the list at http://mashable.com/2014/04/09/heartbleed-bug-websites-affected/.
As a precaution, we recommend that our members take the following steps to strengthen password security:
-Use passwords that are at least eight characters long, such as “ILoveMyCat”
-Do not use words in the dictionary – rather than using “ILoveMyCat” use “ILuvMyCaat”
-Use a mix of capitalized and lower-cased letters – instead of “ILuvMyCaat” use “iILuvmyYcAaT”
-Use numbers, and replace letters with numbers – instead of “iILuvmyYcAaT” use “i1LuvmyYcA4T9”
-If possible, use symbols – instead of “i1LuvmyYcA4T9” use “i1<3myYcA4+9"
-Use different passwords for different services. Your Netflix password and your bank account password should not be the same.
Protecting your account information is one of our top priorities. If you notice any suspicious activity in any of your online accounts, please contact us immediately at 715-359-4231 or email us at bookkeeping@www.intercitystatebank.com.
